Function: | This can be set to find entities like players or locators, and feeds their location to any Beacon sensor that is linked to it. |

Brief
The Target Finder is usually linked to a Beacon Sensor, so that the beacon sensor can output it's outputs,(refer to the beacon sensor page) but is sometimes used just with indicators and explosives etc. to do something when a target is in range.

Placed using Primary fire.

Outputs
Has 2 outputs per target it is set to locate:
- Whether or not the target finder has found a target
- The entity of the target
Variables
- Minimum distance
- Maximum distance: How far away the Target Finder can locate targets.
- Max Targets
- Max Bogeys
- Target Players
- Do not target owner
- Do not target owner's stuff: Do not target vehicles, props, npcs, or other entities spawned by the owner
- Target NPCs
- NPC Filter: Only target NPCs with this in their class name
- Target Locators
- Target Hoverballs
- Target Thrusters
- Target Props
- Prop Model Filter: Only target props with this in their model path
- Target Vehicles
- Target RPGs
- Paint targets: Colors the current target
- Case Sensitive: Whether filters are case sensitive
- Name filter: Target only these players
- Entity name: Target only entities with this in their name
- SteamID Filter: Target only players with this SteamID
- Color Filter: Target only entities colored this color
- Color: Color to paint targets
- Check propprotection list: Will not target people on your prop protection list (Labeled Experimental)
- Target only buddies: Only targets people on your prop protection list (Labeled Experimental)
Useful hints
- Can have multiple target types set, but can only track one target at a time.
