• How to configure SeriousRP
  • A note about configuration
    • SeriousRP is designed to be easy to set up and use. For this reason, I have chosen good settings which apply to all servers. You can change anything you like but you must do it manually in lua - this is better than having a million rp_ commands to worry about getting right. Trust me ;-)
  • Choosing your database (choice of SQLite, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server 2008)
    • By default, SeriousRP will use SQLite. This means it is very simple to get started. However, if you want more speed and are hosting a community, please choose one of the other options - either MySQL, PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server (either Express or Standard are fine)
  • Installing the necessary addons
  • Configuring SeriousRP for your community
    • Choose how many goverments you want (default for most RP servers is one)
      • If your server is spacebuild-classic based, you may choose to have more than one government. Players choose which government they operate under when joining.
    • Setting up public teams (police, fire, medical, etc)
