Brief

The Wiring Tool is the one you'll use most within the Wire Addon. The Advanced Wire Tool has some "better" features, such as showing all of the available inputs or outputs. You can use your mouse wheel (or whatever you use for switching weapons) to scroll up and down instead of right clicking. UPDATE: The Advanced wiring tool has been replaced with the "Improved Wiring Tool" (It is still called the Adv. Wire Tool). The new wire tool displays the entity over the crosshair's outputs and can create wirelinks. It is also less laggy.

Instructions

Look at an input device, and use the mouse wheel to select an input. Press the primary fire key to begin wiring, or reload to unwire the input. After selecting the input, shoot another device with an output, then choose the output with the mouse wheel and click fire again.
