The Expression2-Wirelink tool adds an output to any wire device. This output, which has the type WIRELINK, is wired to an Expression 2 gate. After wiring, the Expression 2 has arbitrary access to all inputs and outputs of that entity. See the Wirelink section on the Expression 2 page for more info
