Laser guided hover balls

Making the contraption

First, get a platform or another flat object (I used a 2x2 PHX platform) and attach hover balls on the four corners.

Next, attach a Laser pointer receiver and a GPS. Now you need to attach one subtract gate(found in Gate - Arithmetic) chip and wire A to the GPS "Z" co-ordinate and B to the laser pointer receiver Z co-ordinate. Now, wire the hover balls "Set Z target" to the subtract gate.

Using the contraption

Get a laser pointer from the SWEPS menu and link to the receiver with your secondary mouse button, point up to make it go up, and down to go down.

This is a very simple contraption but very useful for elevators and crushing mechanisms.
