How to make a W,A,S,D controlled car
YOU WILL NEED:
- An Advanced Pod Controller (in your wiremod tab)
- A seat (look under the entities tab)
- And a chassis for your car (this can be any random prop(s))
INSTRUCTIONS!
- 1.Make your framework/chassis.
- 2.Add thrusters to your chassis. Make sure you use the WIRE ones; under the wiremod tab, else this car won't work! (You can also use wheels or other tools, but they won't be covered here)
- 3.Spawn your seat and place/weld it on your chassis.
- 4.Spawn an Advanced Pod Controller.
- 5.Click on the controller and the seat to link them, using the wire tool.
- 6.Wire the A input on the back thruster/s to the W output on the advanced pod controller. (Use the advanced wire tool, by the way!)
- 7.Wire the A input on the front thruster/s to the S output on the controller.
- 8.Wire the A input on the right thruster/s to the A output on the controller.
- 9.Wire the A input on the left thruster/s to the D output on the controller.
- 10. Your car is finished! Use the seat and drive around with the WASD keys. You can still get out of the seat by pressing use as usual.
