Brief
A component that, when activated, Pushes or pulls an object with a set amount of force.
Inputs
- Force: Applies the given input force multiplied by the Force Multiplier, to the center of the first prop within the beam's range.
- Velocity: Applies the given input force, but to players instead of props. Interestingly enough, this doesn't seem to be affected by the Force Multiplier.
- Offset Force: Think of this like you're pushing an eraser close to one end. Instead of applying force to the center of the prop, it applies the force to the point where the beam touches the prop.
Variables
- Force distance
- Force multiplier
- Show beam
- Apply reaction force: If this is true, the Forcer will apply an equal but opposite reaction to itself when it forces. This doesn't work on worldbrushes, sadly.
Useful hints
- If one of the input values is negative, then the Forcer will pull instead of push when applying that kind of force.
- You can make all sorts of realistic contraptions using the Apply Reaction Force function.
