Introduction
In this is tutorial it is going to teach you how to make a wire calculator with four screens. It is recommended that you download the PHX3 addon from www.garrysmod.org
What you will need
Gates ;
- (1) Add gate
- (1) Subtraction gate
- (1) Multiply gate
- (1) Divide gate
- (2) Increase/Decrease gate
Other Wire ;
- (4) Buttons (Toggle off)
- (6) Screens or (3) Screens with two values
- (1) Constant value
Construction ;
- (1) 1x2 plate from PHX - (Addon)
Constructing
To begin with, first spawn all of your gates at the top of the PHX 1x2 plate.
Then spawn all six screens below.the gates on the 1x2 plate.
Then finaly spawn the constant value and buttons in any remaing space.
The Wiring
- (1st) Increase/Decrease gate (A) to Constant value of 1.
- (2nd) Increase/Decrease gate (A) to Constant value of 1.
- (1st) Increase/Decrease gate (Increase) to Up Button.
- (2nd) Increase/Decrease gate (Increase) to other Up Button.
- (1st) Increase/Decrease gate (Decrease) to Down Button.
- (2nd) Increase/Decrease gate (Decrease) to other Down Button.
- (1) Add gate (A) to (1st)Increase/Decrease gate.
- (1) Add gate (B) to (2nd)Increase/Decrease gate.
- (1) Multiply gate (A) to (1st)Increase/Decrease gate.
- (1) Multiply gate (B) to (2nd)Increase/Decrease gate.
- (1) Subtraction gate (A) to (1st)Increase/Decrease gate.
- (1) Subtraction gate (B) to (2nd)Increase/Decrease gate.
- (1) Divide gLink titleate (A) to (1st)Increase/Decrease gate.
- (1) Divide gate (B) to (2nd)Increase/Decrease gate.
- (1st) Screen (A) to (1st)Increase/Decrease gate.
- (2nd) Screen (A) to (2nd)Increase/Decrease gate.
- (3rd) Screen (A) to Add gate.
- (4th) Screen (A) to Multiply gate.
- (5th) Screen (A) to Subtraction gate.
- (6th) Screen (A) to Divide gate.
If you wired everything up correctly than, you should be able to scroll up and down and on all four Screens you should see the answer to the every math problem.
