Primary fire: | Sets an entity on fire. |
Secondary fire: | If an entity is burning, it will extinguish it. |
Notes: | Sadly, fire doesn't spread well. :( |
Brief
The Ignite tool is used to set things on fire or extinguish props that are on fire. It sets props and ragdolls on fire and will do damage to them. If it is made of wood, it will break after a short time.
The use of the HL2:Episode One code means that it also lights the area around it with dynamic lighting.
The primary fire (Default: Mouse1): This will set any prop on fire for a set amount of time. You must own the prop or have prop protection of the owner's prop.
The secondry fire (Default: Mouse2): This will extinguish any prop that is currently on fire. You must own the prop or have prop protection of the owner's prop.
Instructions
- Aim and fire at the object you want to ignite.
- To extinguish the fire, use the secondary fire on the burning object.
Variables
- In the Ignite tool menu you can only change 1 option. This is the length of time the prop will be on fire.
Useful hints
- You can use this to make flaming torches to decorate your contraptions, or to cause damage to others.
